The past two weeks have been intense – we’ve been busy relocating our “Seed Phenotyping Center” while simultaneously building and expanding it into a beautiful, awsome, incredible, high-end, molecular biology lab.
We’re genuinely excited about this step. It allows us to go beyond high-end seed phenotyping on Labdeers instruments, it offer a much more comprehensive research solution, all in one place.
Our main goal? To better capture and understand changes in seeds – especially in the context of heat stress and plant production. And you are welcome to use our experience soon.
What’s new?
– Microbalance with ±3 µg precision for the accurate seed measurement
– Microtome for sectioning seeds Arabidopsis and other species
– ZEISS fluorescence microscope
– Deep freezer for seed science
Standard DNA and RNA analytical lab and many more…
AND… what we are really proud at most it is to have In-house built-in growth chamber (and yes—its Labdeers team made and its something awsome!)
Honestly a big part of our equipment comes from the Medigene lab. Big thanks to people from Maynard, for all the help, thanks to them we had the chance to acquire high-quality instruments from the former Medigene lab and giving them a new life in our hands.
We’re proud of what we’ve built, and excited for what’s next!
